Computational biologist with 8 years in antibody discovery. Previously led computational design at a clinical-stage biologics company in the mid-Atlantic corridor. PhD in biophysics. Built Genolux after watching experimental screening consume budgets that structure prediction could have compressed.

Marcus Chen, CTO and Co-Founder of Genolux

Marcus Chen

CTO & Co-Founder

Computational biology PhD. Former contributor to the Rosetta antibody modeling suite — wrote the CDR loop sampling code that underlies part of our interface prediction workflow. Built the ML infrastructure for protein structure prediction pipelines at a computational drug discovery startup before joining Elena to co-found Genolux.

Dr. Priya Nair, Lead Scientist at Genolux

Lead Scientist

Antibody engineer with a CRO background. Ran phage display and yeast display campaigns for 5 years before joining Genolux. Her direct experience with what happens between computational prediction and experimental confirmation shapes how we design the developability flagging system — she knows exactly what the model misses.

Protein language model specialist with a background in transformer architectures applied to biological sequences. Previously worked on representation learning for antibody sequences at a computational drug discovery startup. At Genolux, he works on the scoring model calibration and batch prediction infrastructure.

Anya Petrova, Bioinformatics Lead at Genolux

Bioinformatics Lead

Structural bioinformatics. Maintains the SAbDab-derived training pipeline, benchmark evaluation scripts, and public dataset releases. Authored the CDR loop benchmarking preprint. Her work is the reason our accuracy claims are backed by verifiable, reproducible code.

Antibody CMC and manufacturability expert

Former Head of CMC at a clinical-stage biologics company. 15 years translating antibody hits into developable drug candidates. Advises on the practical relevance of our 7-flag developability screen and which flags most predict real-world attrition.
